Awesome post on the lessons from Vietnam and how they should be applied to Iraq. I’d never heard of Richard Russell and Farber’s right. I’m 35 and only barely remember Vietnam on TV and my history classes in school gave it short shrift.

Given the way Lieberman is now, I wonder how much influence he would’ve had with Gore post 9/11 if they’d made it into the White House? A fabulous what-if.
